Michael is an alumnus of Toronto’s Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a fellow of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Citizenship and Immigration Section of the Canadian Bar Association, and the American Bar Association’s Associate Member.

He is frequently called upon to speak to the media about immigration difficulties impacting North Americans in Canada and the United States. He has given talks on immigration topics worldwide and has been interviewed by Canada AM, CTV, Canada News Net, the Globe and Mail, and the Toronto Star.
